We are currently searching for High School players graduating in 2024 (or even recent grad's from 2022/2023), who have not got scholarships to college, missed their window due to injury, or who are simply facing the prospect of hanging up their cleats after graduation, but still have the strong urge to play competitive (ultimately professional) sports.
TX HS baseball is of such high quality, competition is stiff and opportunities are hard to come by to get to the next level. We understand that and would like to offer those players a second chance at 'Pro Sports' and an opportunity to use those skills they've acquired along the way.
Your players have spent their teenage years committed to the dream of one day being on an MLB roster. Unfortunately, as you are all well aware, that road is long and hard and the journey is difficult. Data tells us that the drop off rate from HS to College is huge, and the College to the Pro's drop off is equally devastating.
It is specifically those borderline players we want to talk to, to tell them about an opportunity that could lead to them putting on a Team USA jersey at a World Cup or an Olympics, playing for multiple 'Pro' teams, both in the USA and around the world.
In case you didn't know, USA is cohosting the T20 Cricket World Cup in June 2024. It is the pinnacle of world professional cricket and will feature professional athletes from all around the world. Yes, Cricket, that weird foreign sport, you saw once on ESPN !
We (USA) now have a fully professional Major League Cricket league, that features professional (Paid) athletes from both the USA and overseas. We also have Minor League Cricket, as a development system for MLC. Along with this are multiple domestic 'Pro' Tournaments that pay players good money for a really short time commitment.
There are multiple Pro Leagues (Tournaments) worldwide, that sign overseas players (which is what these players would qualify as). These leagues only play for between two to eight weeks max, so a lot of players actually play in multiple leagues each year accumulating multiple salaries along the way.
Small tournaments might pay 2K-10K for a couple of weeks work. Mid level tournaments can pay between 25K and 200K for 4 weeks work. But the pinnacle is the Indian Premier League, which is the Gold Standard for this type of Cricket. The season is 8 weeks only, but foreign players can earn between 50K and 2.5 Million USD for that 8 week contract.
No long term deals over multiple years (currently) but I'm sure you'll agree, 50K for a two month season is pretty good and 2.5 Million is . . . .
We are partnered with the APBPA (American Ball Players Association) and are currently working on an exciting project that will see us create a USA based 'Pro' league with the concept that Baseball (& Softball) players are highly skilled and deserve an opportunity to go places if baseball/softball doesn't ultimately pan out for them.
We are NOT trying to poach players from you, we are simply offering an opportunity to those players who are out of options, but are still hungry for competitive sports.
Team USA currently operates Mens and Women's National Teams, and U19 teams, that compete in global professional competitions. We believe that the very skills your athletes possess, match up with what makes a great T20 Cricket Player, and with our help, these players could carve out a great career for themselves, simply by swinging a wider bat, on a 360 degree field (no foul balls) !
So if you know any hard working, dynamic young players (male or female, as there are pro women's competitions too) who fit the bill, please get in touch.
We are based out of Houston TX, so if they are local to us, even better.
Thanks for your time.
